To the Saints in San Carlos:
It is Holy Week and the atmospheric river is no longer running, at least for a while. It seems to be warming up, a little.
This coming Sunday will be Easter. Both Kalavaria and Satauro ole Ola Samoan congregations will join us for worship. There will be the usual service in English along some special music in Samoan sung by their youth choir. It promises to be a particularly joyful celebration of the Resurrection of Our Lord.
I mentioned last week that our new web page is up and running. I post on San Carlos Patch as well:
Our primary lessons for this Sunday, as heard in Handel's Messiah:
Job 19:25-26; 1 Corinthians 15:20 I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. And though worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God. For now is Christ risen from the dead, the first fruits of them that sleep.
May this Holy Week be one of good health and reflection on God's abiding presence and mercy.
